One area in which the GAF continues to reach out to its community is the health sector. A number of units within GAF have generously donated either cash or kind towards the running of heath institutions.

Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs) have been reminded that discipline in the Ghana Armed Forces could only be achieved if they discharged their duties without fear or favour, and that the enforcement of discipline depended on them, since they were the link between the Other Ranks and the Officers.

19th May, 2010. Forty-five retirees have been honoured by the 64 Infantry Regiment in Burma Camp for their dedicated service to the unit. The retirees had served the Armed Forces between twenty-five and thirty years.
